I love doing jigsaw puzzles. I did them as a kid and remember loving the sense of progress and the sense that things can be figured out.
It seems that puzzles come in different sizes for different reasons. Some are 10 pieces for little children while others are 2000 pieces. Some have a cartoon image of a fish swimming with other fish while some are a photo of 80 lavender balls of yarn.
We get handed different puzzles all day long. I have a job with a dozen different puzzles. Some require a few clicks and a high five while others require a long conversation followed by time at a whiteboard, some prayer and maybe even some fasting. I have worked puzzles that were 10 pieces and a child could have done and then others that you don't ever get that last piece put in.
There is a clock. We live is a space that includes time. We are going to all run out of time. We may not get all of the puzzle pieces in before the buzzer goes off and we leave.
We can only work on one puzzle at a time which means that we have to prioritize because some of those puzzles are going to get neglected or left for someone else to work on.
Your kids require being raised and your interactions. They cannot live with the rumor that there is a father or rumor that there is a mother.
You must eat and drink though how much and how often can affect how we interact with some of the other puzzles.
What if you are so fat that you cannot work on an important puzzle? What if you took such terrible care of the puzzle of your body that you could not play with your grandkids, or go with people that need you to shop, drink coffee etc.
All analogies break down eventually.
This is just an analogy to get you to think and maybe to step back from the puzzle, ask for help and try to not be so emotionally attached that you get overwhelmed.
You are a human. You were given puzzles and struggles that exceed your abilities to handle on your own. You need other people and you need the power of the Spirit to deal with all of this stuff.
There are a few times in the new testament where it's asked if someone was born blind because of their sin or their parents sin. The answer was neither but to display the glory of God. Perhaps you were designed to display the glory of God by a divine encounter with Jesus.
