The brackish man.

Transitions are always messy.

There is a space where the tides come in and go out where the water is fresh and then salty and then fresh and salty again. It's called brackish.

There are many animals that live well in fresh water that would die if thrown into salt water and the reverse is true.

Many of the animals that live in brackish water need that constant change. It makes them better; it's as though they were designed for the bridging the space between fresh and salt water life.

There are a lot of us that are like that; we do better when we get a wash of change and poorly when things are the same for too long. There are many that love the consistency without changes. They want their job to remain exactly the same for years on end. They want to go to the same restaurants and eat the same diet year in and year out.

They say that opposites attract and that teams require diversity to actually get real work done that affects lives.

We only have one life to live so trying to be someone else does not help but being connected with the brackish types can help bridge the gaps between those that love salt and those that love fresh water however those play out.
