Leviticus 25:16b because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops.
How are you counting value? Are you counting it over the next years, months, weeks, minutes?
When I read this I froze. It was right there in black and white the formula for calculating value.
The value of the land is in the number of crops.
The value of a parent is in how they provide for their kids. Not just in the financials but in the safety and skills taught.
The value of food is in taste or it's ability to nourish the temple?
The value of the tires on the car? The value of the doctor? The value of the man?
How are you measuring the value? What and how you measure will dramatically affect where you put your attention, the price you are willing to pay and the expectations you have.
It also reflects. It reflects your knowledge, priorities and character.
Gain understanding though it costs you everything.
